The Tip of the Iceberg

Climate change caused by human activity is one of the biggest challenges of our generation. There is today an increasing threat of climate change. In order to combat this, we all need to make concrete efforts to ensure our actions today do not negatively affect future generations.

In the face of the rising environmental challenge of climate change, we, at oortu recognise the need to collaborate with others to tackle the effects of climate change.

The Paris Agreement Temperature Goal of 1.5°C.

Every fraction of a degree makes a difference.

Establishing 1.5°C global mean temperature rise above pre-industrial levels as the long-term warming limit.

To achieve this goal, net zero CO2 emissions need to be achieved globally around 2050 and global greenhouse gas emissions need to be halved by 2030.
